National Videogame Museum
The National Videogame Museum in Sheffield is filled with plenty of interactive exhibits including arcade machines with classics such as Space Invaders and PacMan.
An educational programme for young people to talk about what games mean and how they are made was created by the founders. The centre has also been recognised by Arts Council of England, the British Library and many others as a leading proponent of videogame culture.
The National Videogame Museum opens every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and all week in school holidays and you can discover the past, present and future of electronic play in a brand new, family-friendly museum, through over a hundred different games.
The National Videogame Museum can be reached by car in 15 minutes, when staying at Mercure Sheffield Parkway Hotel.
